Healing Fascia
Breeding (Creating) Healers
A complete new training in the field of healing through fascia manipulation and release!
In my life i sailed a lot and learned that the human body can do way much more than we know in the civilised world. Conditioning and lack of challenges, being remote of nature, lack of grounding etc. Makes us weak and less resilient to the tasks of life and that is a pitty. Taking good care of our biggest censory organ (fascia) will restore that resilience and gives us the possibility to do more in life.
Healing fascia is an extension of Myofascial Energetic Release. The approach is different, working with a deeper understanding of the body’s soft connective tissues (fascia). And thus being able to initiate ( guide to) a more complete healing.
As is increasingly recognized through research, the body—and especially the fascia with its 250 million sensory nerves—is the storage site for poorly processed emotions (both negative and positive). That is why healing this tissue is becoming ever more important. Furthermore, fascia functions as an organ of perception (proprioception) and supports other sensory functions of the body. It is also essential for our (life) posture.
To this date, there are very few educational programs as advanced in knowledge in this area as this Healing Fascia and MER (from Satyarthi Peloquin). My goal is to pass on years of experience with chronic pain complaints, posture manipulation, and knowledge of fascia, to train an army of skilled therapists in this beautiful work!
We observe posture to recognize one’s life attitude and, if necessary, to release tension in order to achieve a better balance. We do this by learning how the myofascial trains (Myers) in the body can hold tension and cause certain postures. In addition, we pay attention to the most noticeable character structures (Reich). These childhood wounds often play a significant role in our lives, and relaxing and recognizing them during sessions can lead to life-changing results.
By linking breathwork techniques to myofascial unwinding, you quickly uncover the source of tension (be it emotional, overworked, or damaged), and the body releases this tension in a long lasting way!
We will also investigate how nutrition plays a role in keeping our fascia healthy. Together with a guest teacher, you will gain a better understanding of how to guide clients in improving the health of their fascia. Optimal care for Collagen, Elastin, and water (ground substance) are central to this approach.
Certain movements are practiced daily to keep the fascia supple, and movement education is also an important part of adopting new posture. By teaching clients how to use this, lasting results can be achieved quickly. Techniques from yoga and Gyrotonics help re-educate the cells in our body.
Both underweight and overweight often play a role in influencing body posture. This, too, is addressed with a guest teacher who will provide deeper insight into how we can advise clients on maintaining a healthy microbiome.
Additionally, you will learn how to set up a good practice and everything that comes with it: how to attract clients and advertise your services. Together with a guest teacher, we will look at the necessary steps to build a successful practice.
